First Bath Experience

We had a successful first bath.  Dominic did great and he stayed awake for the whole thing.  He still sleeps most of the day, so it is nice when he is awake and checking everything out.  He reminds me a lot of Vince when he was that age.  He takes everything in and looks like he is really thinking about what he sees.  We are still having a great time getting used to everything.  :)

Dominic Levi Santini

Dominic Levi Santini is here!  He was born on July 14th at 9:43am and weighed in at 7 pounds 3 ounces, 20 inches long.  He is perfect!  I did end up having a c-section which was not my first choice, but it is all worth it.  I am recovering well, still a little sore, but that will pass with time.  We were able to come home yesterday and we are really enjoying it.  Vince loves his little brother, he has been so sweet and good with him.  He loves to hold Dominic.  Vince has even been ok with Dominic crying. I thought that would be one of the biggest problems, but so far so good.  We all have some adjusting to do, but we are very lucky and blessed.  Here are some pictures from the first few days of Dominic's life.  Many more pictures to come.
