Fan/Kid Day at U of M

For the third year running we went to Fan/Kid day at the Big House.  This year we went with our friends the Barnes family.  Their kids, Addie and Koen, are about the same ages as our boys.  The kids got to run around, Vince and Dominic had their picture taken with the cheerleaders, Vince got to play the drums, both boys got to tackle daddy, and we got to see the kickers practice.  From the first year to this year they have really improved fan day and now have so much more for families to do. Even if you are not a U of M fan, it is pretty cool and you should check it out.

Dominic enjoyed walking around and really did not care about the other people, he just went where he wanted :)
Addie, Koen, and Vince played very well together.
The height difference between Addie and Vince gets me every time.  Vince is only 3 months younger than her!
The best one of the four of them.
Brother and Sister love!

Rogers City for Nautical Festival

The first weekend of August is the Nautical Festival in Rogers City, and since last year we did not make it up there we decided to go this year.  We did a lot of different things, but I think the two highlights were seeing the big equipment at Calcite, and the parade.  It is really impressive how huge the dump trucks are!  Vince and Dominic also got a couple of new toys!  Cousin Ethan outgrew some of his riding toys, so Annie and Brian offered to let us have them.  They boys really like them.  It was a great weekend!

Donkey has been at all the family events for at least 8 years now, maybe longer
 Vince's new tractor
Dominic really liked riding the little four wheeler too
 The Bellmores
 The Santinis
 Huge Wheel
Vince was driving the dump truck
 Dominic had to drive too

We were so little compared to it!

Ann Arbor Kids Museum

This summer we wanted to check out some things that would be fun for the kids and one that we had heard great things about was the Ann Arbor Children's Museum.  It was very cool!  The kids had a great time and there was so much to do.  We will definitely be going back.  They have stuff for all ages and even Nick and I had a good time. :)  Here are a few pictures from the day.

Playing in the young kids room, they loved all the balls and water table!
This was a pretty neat section they had set up, the green screen.

Vince and Dominic got to play the piano with their feet :)
