The rest of our Rogers City trip

Along with our drive around Rogers City, we did lots of fun stuff.  We played outside, went "ice skating" with no skates, went to The Club and played pool, spent time with family, and celebrated Uncle Chris's birthday.  We all had a great time.

The boys loved playing pool at The Club

Pretty Rogers City

In January we went to Rogers City and one of the days the weather was beautiful!  Dominic needed to take a nap so we decided to take a drive and let him sleep while we checked out all the snow!  We drove along the Lake Huron lakeshore and then to Ocqueoc Falls to see all the snow and ice.

Andrea had to walk through knee-deep snow to get down to the falls to get these pictures but they are some really cool shots of the snow and ice on the falls.

Wisconsin and a few snow pics

Our holiday plans changed a little bit this year because unfortunately my Uncle Mark (my moms brother) passed away on Christmas Day.  He was a great man who had a tremendous impact on his family and community.  He passed away of cancer.  We decided to go to Wisconsin for the funeral and were able to spend some very nice time with the rest of the family.  A couple of my cousins have boys the same ages as our boys, so they all had a good time.  My Uncle Jeff has a train set around his tree and that was pretty much the coolest thing either of our boys had ever seen.  Dominic and James really seems to get along pretty well, which for two one year olds, that was great.  We also had a monster snow storm the weekend before we went back to school and ended up getting 4 snow days in a row because of it.  We got about 15 inches of snow from it.  It has been quite the winter so far and we still have some left.  Hoping for much better weather as the winter goes on, but we will see!

The second night the train around the tree was not working, so they set up another train set.
This was the best picture of the boys.  We are missing one here, Jojo was sick.  It goes, Thomas, Vince, James, and Dominic.  Vince and Thomas are three months apart in age and Dominic and James are about 2 month apart.  Jojo is right in the middle of the boys for ages.

 SNOW

So much snow, Nick had to snow blow 4 times in 24 hours to keep up with it
Snowed in!  Nick even got a snow day, which is a first for him at this job.
 Begging for food :)

Presents and Santa Came

The boys got a lot of cool thing this year.  The biggest hit with Dominic was a coffee maker for Nick.  The boys helped me rap Nick's presents this year and I was a little worried that Vince would tell him what we got him, but it was Dominic who gave it away!  He went right up to the box and told Nick coppee.  He says it with a p, which makes it extra cute.  :)  That was also the first present they chose to open.  Silly boys.  The also got a real basketball and football, a fish tank, air planes (dusty crophopper), a drum set, and Vince's most favorite, a stand mixer and food possessor.  The two kitchen tools are what Vince asked Santa for this year, Dominic also loves playing with them.  Christmas is so much fun having little ones who are so excited for all of it!

 Coppee, Coppee!
Now they can really play football
