Easter Dinner and Morning

After the spring game we went over to Lisa and Ed's house for Easter dinner.  It made for a busy day, but well worth it.  We got to hang out with a lot of my family that we don't see often so that was nice too.  With 7 boys running around there was a lot of fun to be had.  TJ is the oldest at 6 and Ben is the youngest at 7 months, everyone has someone to play with.  They had an egg hunt, dinner, final 4 basketball, and lots of toys.  Easter morning we woke up to the Easter bunny visiting our house.  The boys were very excited.  They got Lego's, a wiffle ball bat and balls, the Ice Age Movies, and candy.  We had a nice breakfast and then went church.  Dominic can at times be a bit antsy at church (go figure) but he did pretty good.  He did ask if we could sing Jingle Bells, and wanted to know where the baby Jesus was at, but other than that it was all good.

 Dessert!
 It was really good
The egg battle.  Dominic won, he beat everyone.

 So much good stuff
Ready for Church.  They each picked their own outfits.  Vince likes to dress up, when they were putting on their shoes, both wanted to dance, because they are their wedding shoes.

Easter Egg Hunts

We did not have any Easter Egg hunts planned this year, but the boys ended up having 3 of them!  They were very excited for beans and money :).  The first was at the Ruble's, the next was Easter morning at our house, and the last was in our yard with our neighbors. Fun stuff.

At Lisa and Ed's house there were 7 little boys 6 and under.  They all did great.  So far all the cousins have had boys, maybe someday one of us will have a girl.

Lisa Weaver supplied the eggs and they were very nice ones
It was a very nice day,  For me is was not quite t-shirt weather, but the kids thought it was.

Spring Game!

We have gone to the spring game for U of M the last few years and this by far was the best weather.  It was also the busiest because Coach Harbaugh is new and everyone hopes he saves the day this year.  In the past we have always been able to park in the stadium parking lots, but not this year.  They estimate that 50,000 people were there!  My cousin Corey met us there and we met up with Erin and Kris and their two kids, Addie and Koen.  The boys did well, but it Dominic is not quite ready to go to a regular game.  He was pretty antsy by the end.

 So many people

Vince and Dominic both wanted to take pictures and they did a pretty good job.

Preschool and random pics

This spring I had the chance to go to preschool twice.  Vince loves it there and Dominic does too.  Next year, provided Dominic is potty trained, he will go to preschool twice a week.  Dominic also had a bit of an incident with a door.  He was walking over Vince's shoes and tripped, we got very lucky that it did not split open and need stitches.  It is amazing how resilient little ones are.

 Dominic wanted to fish too

Vince found our graduation outfits and wanted to wear it.
Dominic made a house for Daniel Tiger.  I was pretty impressed with it,

Ice Storm and winter fun

The month of March was pretty quiet.  They boys traded being sick on the weekends, so we really did not do much.  I think it was the longest stretch of us being home ever :).  We did get outside some and we got to go ice fishing!  We did not catch anything, but it was a beautiful day and the boys had fun.  We also had a little ice storm during March and everything looked like it had been varnished.  Pretty neat stuff!  The storm happened during the day, while we were at school so we did not get a snow day out of it. This winter we only had 5 snow days, much better than last years 15!

It was a lot of ice
We dug out snow from under the ice to make a little snowman

 The varnish look
Even at night it looked pretty
