January Things

We have had a pretty busy January so far.  Vince is the ball boy for the boys basketball team and he is really enjoying it.  He gets to go to some of their practices and then he gets to sit on the bench during home games.  The older boys are also doing a basketball camp this month on Saturdays.  I took the boys to see, "School of Rock," which was so good!  Dominic in not usually quiet and he does not sit still, but he did both during the show!  Both boys now want to be in a band.  Nick was supposed to go, but he was pretty sick the whole weekend.
This is pretty typical in our house.  Nick is nice and comfy on the couch and I have four little people crawling on me.  Sometimes is it a little bit like a boxing match. :)

Tony was feeding Alex his food.  Not sure why, but it was sweet and cute.  They pretty much do everything together.  Lately they have been hugging more and today Tony kept saying that Alex was his best friend.  I know I don't know what it is like to be a twin, but it is special to watch their relationship, even if a lot of their hugs turn into wrestling. :)

I found them eating snacks on the stairs the other day.

More snack time.  I think it might always be snack time in our house, someone is always hungry.

New Year's Eve

We stayed home for New Year's Eve.  We make bad food and then before we watch an early ball drop we have popcorn in the living room.  This year we had cheese puffs that look like popcorn because the twins are still too little for popcorn.  We also have sparkling grape juice and toast.  We watched the Australian ball drop and they had great fireworks!  The older boys love our tradition and were so excited all day for it.

Michigan Game

Vince's big Christmas present was to go to a U of M basketball game.  Michigan is having a great season and it was fun to go.  It was during regular nap time, so the twins both fell asleep at the end of time game.  Uncle Chris went with us and hung out with the big boys while the little boys slept.

We were way up at the top!

Half time dunk time.  They were really good.
Tony needed a pretzel that was the size of his head

 Alex needed a pretzel too

It was super loud in there, but they were so tired!

We went out to eat after the game.  Alex decided that he needed to go pee pee on the potty while we were at the restaurant and because girls bathrooms are usually cleaner, I got to take him.  Alex decided it would be a good time to go poopy on the potty.  When we got back to the table, Tony had to go pee pee too.  I am not sure why, but our kids really like to go potty in public places!

Laundry Room Redo

The last main floor project we needed to do was the laundry room.  The washer and dryer were very old and when we got new ones we figured we would spruce up the rest of it.  We did this project over Christmas break and I am very happy with how it turned out.

Christmas

For Christmas this year we stayed home and had everyone at our house since it was our first year in our new house.  My parents and brother came down the Saturday before and stayed until Christmas Eve and then Nick's brother came over on Christmas Eve and his parents came over too.  We hung out on Christmas Day and just relaxed.

Present time.  The way we have done it in our house is, Christmas Eve we open presents from each other and then we open Santa's presents on Christmas day.

Christmas morning.  After we all got up and opened presents from Santa we had hot coco and breakfast.  I think this was my very favorite time of Christmas this year.  They boys were all getting along, singing to Christmas music.  It was peaceful and so nice.
