Best present ever :)

This year for Christmas, Eric - his wife watches our boys- gave Vince the greatest present!  Vince loves airplanes and talks about them all of the time and Eric has a friend who owns a small plane so he decided to ask if Vince could go flying with them, Nick got to go too.  We waited until spring to do it and it was worth the wait. :)  We had a great weather weekend this spring so that is when they did it.  Dominic and I went along to watch all of the fun.  When we got there Dr. Falik, who owns the plane, gave us a little tour and showed us the plane.  It was very exciting.  Vince was a little unsure of the whole thing at first, but once they got him in the plane and the headphones on him, he was good.  In fact, having the headphones in the plane has helped in other areas too.  Vince had an MRI this spring after flying and we pretended that they were for the airplane and he did great in it, he did not even cry.  The MRI was just a yearly check up and everything was good with it.  So that was a very nice added bonus of this experience.  They were up in the air for about 20 minutes and got to see our house, Amy and Eric's house, and my school.  The pictures are a little blurry, but pretty neat.  Dr. Falik said that the next time Vince goes flying with him, he can sit up in the co-pilot seat and even fly the plane. :)
