While we were up north we were able to visit friends that Nick went to college with. Mike's parents have a cottage on Lake Michigan, so it worked out perfect to meet up! I thought Torch was cold for that time of year, but Lake Michigan was even colder. Even though the ice had been off of it for a while, it felt like there could be some still in it! Mike and Jill have 3 boys, so our two fit in great. They played in the sand for a while and with some golf balls. I think the golf balls were the favorite. With Mike and Jill and many of our other friends and family we live much closer than having to go up north to meet, but that seems to be how it works out. We have family and friends that live even as close as 15-30 minutes away and we pretty much only see them up north. It is pretty silly, but we always enjoy seeing everyone whenever we get the chance. We also got some more time to hang out at Schuss and just enjoy being up north.

Yes, Dominic is holding two beers. We had a mini fridge in the condo and he thought that was so cool. He would open it up and bring a beer to Nick, even first think in the morning. :)
One of the nights that we were there, there was a benefit going on and all of the sudden we heard a lot of bikes, so we went outside and the boys enjoyed watching them come in. There were a lot of them and they were pretty loud
