We did not go up north for as long as we normally would this year and we thought that we would go back up later in July, but everywhere we looked was booked. We decided that we still wanted to do something, so we went to Grand Rapids for a couple days. The boys love GR, mainly because the Trans Siberian Orchestra goes there, but they were excited. We did not do a ton while we were there, but it was fun. We went swimming in the pool everyday and one day found a splash pad, and went to a really cool restaurant!
We got to see Katie and Nate at The Score - a restaurant in GR that makes you feel like you are really on vacation!
