Up North

We decided earlier in the spring that we would still take our regular week long trip up north over the 4th of July week.  The boys always enjoy it so much and we do to, so it was nice to have get away.

 We went right to Torch Lake this year.  My brother was having friends up, so he asked us to stop by for dinner.  The weather was beautiful.

 So many great rocks to throw

 The next day we stayed on the property because Shanty Creek does their celebration on July 3rd.

 We went swimming

 Ate pizza

 Slid down the slides and bounced in the bounce house they put up

And watched Fireworks 

 We did not know how the twins would handle the fire works, so I walked down with the big boys and Nick stayed in the condo with the twins.  They fell asleep before the fireworks started, so it worked out well.

We had a great first couple of days!
