We knew that the doors and windows were original to the house when we moved in, but we did not realize how drafty they would be. We had new windows put in this spring and figure we will get our money back in heating and cooling expenses in about 10 years. ;) Because we went with white windows we decided to do the trim too. It looks so much nicer and much more updated.

New door in and this is how they framed it. I was not a fan of it having the top part all the way across, so we came up with a new plan.
